Project Description
The Tumalo Road Hwy 20 traffic circle project, a landmark achievement by our company, exemplifies our expertise in transforming challenging traffic scenarios into models of efficiency and safety. We successfully executed the construction of two critical roundabouts at U.S. 20/Cook Avenue and U.S. 20/Old Bend Redmond Highway, effectively alleviating congestion in a key transport corridor. Our work extended to adding a second east-bound lane, enhancing vehicular flow, and incorporating a multi-use path for improved pedestrian and cyclist accessibility.
Our commitment to sustainable infrastructure solutions was further demonstrated by the comprehensive pavement preservation of U.S. 20 and the meticulous improvements to the Deschutes River Bridge. The introduction of a bicycle/pedestrian undercrossing in Tumalo and the extension of eastbound lanes to milepost 17.23, complete with modern, safe roundabouts, underscore our innovative approach to infrastructure challenges.
This project is a testament to our collaborative ethos, working in unison with ODOT and Deschutes County. We successfully navigated the complexities of public planning and involvement to implement traffic circles, significantly enhancing safety and reducing congestion. The strategic resurfacing of the Deschutes River Bridge and the repaving of the highway section between the bridge and Cooley Road addressed critical wear and tear, highlighting our dedication to comprehensive, long-lasting infrastructure solutions. This project serves as a prime example of our ability to deliver high-impact, sustainable infrastructure projects, making us an ideal partner for your next venture.
